John’s passion for the food industry began at the age of 13 working in restaurants and remains in-tact today. Cornell University School of Hotel Administration exposed him to opportunities which led to foodservice distribution purchasing, marketing, sales and eventually food co-packing, manufacturing and sales. John has over 18 years in the value added seafood industry, the most recent 4 years at Shaws, with a sound background in purchasing, marketing and sales and another 15 plus years in Beef, Pork, Poultry and other proteins in purchasing, marketing and sales. John’s attention to detail and proven track record in co-packed products for other manufacturers, restaurant chains, retailers, and foodservice distribution is a free resource when doing business with Shaw’s. The ever changing dynamics in the food manufacturing and distribution industry is challenging, exciting and requires a partner who has a passion for your business.
